HumCap's client is searching for a dynamic Business Development Representative (BDR) to support the growing sales team. In this role, the BDR plays a critical role as the front line to driving pipeline growth. First and foremost, this role requires a hunter mentality. The BDR will communicate the value proposition by actively prospecting for outbound leads and responding to inbound leads in order to transition potential opportunities to Account Executives. This role is a remote position for someone in CST or EST time zone.

A dynamic self-starter and problem solver with attention to detail. You are capable of juggling multiple tasks with ease, know how to drive execution without being pushy, and can envision a path to completion through a series of obstacles.

 Responsibilities
  • Articulate the value proposition, solution offerings, and use-case scenarios through phone and/or email communication with C-Level, Director and Technical level prospects
  • Develop and execute an Account Based prospecting strategy to generate interest in product
  • Be skilled traversing both laterally and horizontally within a prospect's organization to identify key decision-makers and influencers
  • Execute multi-touch prospecting campaigns leveraging telephone, email and social media to generate leads for the sales team
  • Actively manage a portfolio of prospects and contacts in Salesforce and set up nurturing activities to generate active engagement with prospects
  • Able to multi-task between inbound contacts when requires, including phone, email, chat and other systems
  • Effective data management and search through internal and external sources such as Salesforce, LinkedIn, search engines and press
  • Follow a clear and defined Qualification Process
  • Actively participate in and add to team learning opportunities and your personal development
     
    Qualifications 
  • Business development and or sales development experience
  • Demonstrable success with creating and growing net new sales pipeline
  • Strong prospecting skills and the confidence to make cold calls, ask for referrals, & seek new leads
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • High energy and positive attitude
  • Ability to meet and exceed achievable targets
  • Motivation, drive, and a self-starting attitude
  • Salesforce.Com, Salesloft, and LinkedIn Navigator experience a plus
  • Articulate and excellent follow up skills
  • Able to adapt to a continually changing environment.
  • Strong desire to move up to other sales functions
  • Strong preference for proximity to the Dallas office
