Job Description
HumCap's Client is seeking a motivated and goal-oriented Business Development Representative with at least two years of sales experience to help drive business growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys engaging with clients, and is passionate about helping professionals showcase their achievements. As a BDR, you will play a key role in generating new business by:
- Scheduling and pre-qualifying appointments for the consultative sales team using targeted contact lists.
- Selling online recognition badges for professional accolades.
- Selling commemorative items that celebrate individual and firm-level achievements.
Client Engagement & Communication
- Effectively communicate the value of products and services via email and phone.
- Tailor messaging to address client needs and pain points.
- Handle objections and concerns professionally to maintain the company’s reputation.
- Engage potential clients in a persuasive and professional manner.
- Close sales by negotiating terms and securing commitments.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow-up actions.
- Develop rapport with key decision-makers and influencers.
- Establish credibility to support successful sales outcomes.
- Work closely with team members and marketing to align strategies.
- Share insights on market trends, competitor activity, and client needs.
- Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions.
- Use this knowledge to position offerings effectively during client interactions.
- Meet or exceed revenue targets and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Contribute to overall business success through consistent sales performance.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
