HumCap is recruiting for a growing industrial distributor who is looking to add an Estimator to their team. This company is known for pairing top-tier products with hands-on customer service, and they're looking to add an Estimator who wants real ownership over how projects get priced and won.

What You'll Do
- Review plans and specifications to prepare accurate quotes and estimates.
- Analyze construction schedules and technical documents to make sure bids meet project requirements.
- Partner with Outside Sales Engineers on equipment selection and value engineering options.
- Enter customer and product information accurately into company systems.
- Provide pricing and product guidance to internal teams and customers.
- Collaborate daily with teammates and vendors.
- Use computer-based pricing and selection tools to build bids and proposals.
- Handle project-related admin, including order processing and documentation.
- Deliver great customer service while juggling multiple deadlines.
- High school diploma or GED required;technical/industrial training beyond high school is a plus.
- At least 1 year of related training, education, or experience (any combination works).
- Strong math, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Basic understanding of HVAC mechanical equipment and concepts preferred.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new tools.
- A sharp eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills —you can manage multiple bid deadlines without someone looking over your shoulder.
