HumCap's client is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality operations within the aviation and aerospace manufacturing business. This role owns the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of quality systems supporting electronic component manufacturing, supplier quality management, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. What You'll Do
- Own and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Manage quality throughout the PCBA manufacturing lifecycle.
- Oversee supplier quality, audits, and corrective actions.
- Lead root cause analysis and CAPA activities.
- Serve as the primary quality interface with customers.
- Monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement.
- Support product transfer and insourcing initiatives.
- Assist with repair station implementation and compliance.
- Support quality functions across additional business units.
- Demonstrated experience owning or maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS).
- Hands-on experience managing quality within PCBA or electronic component manufacturing.
- Experience overseeing supplier quality, audits, and corrective action processes.
- Proven ability to lead root cause analysis and CAPA activities.
- Strong, confident communication skills, with experience serving as a direct quality point of contact for customers.
- Track record of monitoring quality metrics and driving measurable, continuous improvement.
- Engineering degree or technical background.
- Background in aerospace or other regulated manufacturing.
- Familiarity with AS9100, FAA, or TSO environments.
- Comfortable managing product transfers and repair station implementation.
- Experience in supporting multiple business units or sites.
